Description:
Opened in 1997, the Kluge-Ruhe Aboriginal Art Collection is dedicated to sharing and cultivating records of Aboriginal art from Australia. The rotating exhibitions within the museum consistently change to focus on different aspects of this very specific and localized artistic style and also presents many lectures and talks throughout the year. Located close to I-64 on the outer edge of Charlottesville, the museum is run by the University of Virginia and is only a short walk from beautiful Riverview Park.
